1909 Home Friend – The Eggs And I
It’s 1909 again, and the Leahy Manufacturing Company wants to send you “The Favorite” incubator to try for 60 days free. UPS won’t be bringing it though…It’ll be delivered to your station. Of course, if your station is in the next county, that might be a bit of a trek. Harness up the horses Pa, we’re going to get something so we can have a chicken in every pot and eggs for your breakfast!
With the economy in the dumpster in 2009, it might be time to look into buying one of these now. Or, maybe you can talk a neighboring farmer into buying one with you and some friends?
My father-in-law raised chickens all last summer and has been supplying his neighbors with eggs to boot. Seems like everyone is going “back to the land”, huh?
