Genealogy Goes On, Even When I Am On Vacation

Please take a few minutes and read this article written by Claus Von Zastrow of Learning First Alliance. To me, it is not only about empowering African American’s, but all people who want and need to know “Where did I come from?”.

For me, as the daughter of an alcoholic, it wasn’t until I began doing my own family history did I feel better about myself just by knowing I came from some pretty good people who helped shape our country’s history.
