How To Share A Small Family Group In Family Tree Maker
When you set up your family files in Family Tree Maker, did you do it like I did and make it two files, one for my husband, and one for my family lines? Or, did you make it all one file? Some people even make separate files for each surname. Personally, I think that last option is a waste of time and effort, but that’s just me.
No matter what, at some point though, you are going to want to share a family group with someone else. I know I wanted to many times, but I sure didn’t want to type it all up! Well, as it turns out, you don’t have to do a lot of work. You can let Family Tree Maker do the work for you.

I’m glad you like FTM. I’m sure there are other genealogy programs that are good or better, but I haven’t used them. I hope this post with the directions will help more and more people. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment MP.
