Tracing Our Roots: A Must Visit Genealogy Site
If you read newspapers in the north Texas area, you may have already read my friend Brenda Kellow’s genealogy columns. If you don’t live in that region of the United States, you can still read her excellent advice at Tracing Our Roots. Brenda writes a weekly column for the Plano Insider 2005-present, and The Little Elm Journal of Denton County, Texas, Star Publications, and other North Texas Newspapers.
Tracing Our Roots is not a blog (yet), but you can make a note to visit her site each week to see what she is writing about. She keeps an excellent column index on her left sidebar which currently houses articles from 2002 to the present.
Here is a sample of some of Brenda’s articles:
NECESSARY ADDITIONS FOR YOUR PERSONAL LIBRARY
JULY 14, 2005 RESEARCH IN INDIAN TERRITORY AND OKLAHOMA TERRITORY
These are just three of hundreds of columns she has written. I hope you will visit her site and check them all out.
