I firmly believe that Christmas is for children. All the traditions, and that too short of time they believe in a little man who dresses in red, hops in a sleigh and comes to their house bringing gifts is precious. When our first grandchild was born, I found this site that would sent him a letter from Santa and a small tiny piece of land at the North Pole. We did the same thing when his younger sister came along. This year, we are anticipating the arrival of grandchild #3 after Christmas or soon after the first of the year. I may not order a letter for her this year, but I intend to do so next year for her first Christmas. What could be more fun than getting a letter from the North Pole from Santa?
Santa Claus House has been in operation since 1952 and I was thoroughly happy with the attention to detail, as well as the quality of their letters. Send a Personalized letter printed on custom Santa Claus House stationery. Click Here!
While this post might not be totally about genealogy, it is about family and tradition. What holiday traditions do you observe?
