I Recommend: Acorn TV – The Best In British Drama

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love a good British drama. I’ve been a subscriber to Acorn TV for a couple years now and it’s the best entertainment investment I ever made. At $4.99/mo in the US and Canada, how can you beat that? If you sign up now you get the first month free. Honestly though, so many of the programs are really addicting and they add new shows all the time.

acorn tv, british entertainment, Here are some of the most popular shows this month on Acorn TV. Are you as intrigued by history as much as I am? If so, make sure you look at the documentary section of the listings.

Give The Gift Of Audible Books

As time goes by, it’s getting harder and harder for me to sit and hold a book of any size because the arthritis in my hands makes it very difficult to do so. I have some audio books in my library already, but I’m seriously considering adding more to my collection via Audible. One of my most prized collections is the Tuesday Club Murders by Agatha Christie and read by Joan Hickson.

Now, all that said, I know people who have weekly very long commutes who take advantage of that time to listen to their favorite books, or even add to their education with audio books in their field of interest. Try Audible and Get Two Free Audiobooks With over 180,00 audio books to choose from in a wide variety of genres, it’s a one-size-fits-all gift giving opportunity. And, yes, for the genealogist in the family there are audio books on that topic as well.
